Naturist/Nudist Events Calendar - 1999
Some people think that opportunities to enjoy clothes-freedom are limited
to membership in naturist/nudist clubs, visits to clothing-optional beaches,
or private nudity at home, with perhaps a few friends. But it's not so.
There are many events - especially during the warmer times of the year -
when anyone interested in social nudity may participate.
Anyone who is organizing or sponsoring an event which is open to the
"general naturist public" is welcome to send
notification by email for possible inclusion
in this list.
Although it's not required that there be a Web
page for the event, a special page will enhance the probability of listing the
event.
See below for guidelines regarding what sort of
events to submit for consideration.
If you enquire about any of these events, be sure to let the organizers
know that you read about their event here!

Events will be listed only if they are open to the "general naturist
public", i. e. everyone interested in naturism who is willing to follow
customary naturist standards of conduct and respect for others.
(Exceptions can be made if there are reasonable pre-requisites for
participation, such as athletic ability in the case of athletic events.)
In particular, there should be no discrimination on the basis of marital
status or whether or not one attends alone. Organizational membership
may be required if it is readily available without discrimination and
at a reasonable price.
Special events being organized by small clubs or even private individuals, such
as river rafting trips, camping trips, beach cleanups, etc. may be included
as long as they
meet the guidelines of truly being open to the general naturist public.
If your club is planning such an event, you may find that promoting it is
an effective way to build membership.
Since the
purpose of this list is to highlight "special" events, regularly
scheduled club/resort events such as swims, potluck dinners, dances,
etc. will not normally be listed.
